The coldest day (yet) in 2019 is as good a day as any to discuss the president whose energy policy consisted of urging Americans to wear sweaters, Save Jerseyans.

That Democrat (Jimmy Carter), our 39th president, met with Gropacus, f/k/a Cory Booker (D-Twitter) and Rep. John Lewis (D-GA) during a swing through Georgia over the weekend and urged Gropacus to grab the opportunity with both hands and run to be America’s 46th president.

Gropacus is expected to announce a 2020 Democrat presidential primary campaign any day now, entering a primary field that’s growing (almost) daily. Booker’s Californian Senate colleague Kamala Harris announced her own campaign’s launch on Monday.

Should he succeed? We expect what would inevitably be a disastrous presidency to last as long as Carter’s own  (one term, for those of you who learned history in an NJEA public school).
