The Independence Hall Tea Party is very active in the South and Central Jersey regions:

  1. Why didnt they just say that they endorsed all Republicans everywhere that they make endorsements. It would have been a much shorter list.

  4. To Jerseyans:

    Simply put, the Independence Hall Tea Party supports candidates–not parties.

    In some of the 2011 Legislative District races there were independent candidates running–like District 13. While we endorsed Kyrillos, we did not endorse both Assembly candidates.

    Also, our group, in various primaries, has endorsed a few truly conservative Democrats.

    If we are recommending candidates, we must identify them by

    name. We cannot say we recommend ALL Republicans–especially when we do not recommend ALL Republicans.

    (Granted, in the 2011 NJ General Election, we recommended 99% of the Republicans running for office.)

    No matter what we do, we are roundly criticized.

    We will just continue to try and do the right thing.
