#NJSen Hopefuls Pan ObamaCare Delay Tactic

By Matt Rooney | The Save Jersey Blog

ObamaCareIn a move that a former CBO is calling “deviously brilliant,” we learned on Thursday that the Obama Administration plans to delay the ObamaCare employer penalty until 2015… safely AFTER the midterm election.

What can be said of a political leader that isn’t willing to stand by his hallmark legislative accomplishment? Other than to quit living in denial and openly acknowledge that he’s a snake?

Both New Jersey GOP U.S. Senate hopefuls have seized on the President’s blatantly partisan decision.

Fmr. Mayor Steve Lonegan focused on the political component:

Even President Obama and his administration know that Obamacare is a train wreck waiting to happen, and they are afraid of voters rebelling at the ballot box when they see the higher premiums and loss of coverage that result […] Instead of politically motivated delays, we need to repeal Obamacare completely and immediately.”

Dr. Aleita Eck went the economic route:

By delaying this key provision, the White House is clearly beginning to realize what we have all known was true — that ObamaCare will be a job-killer and an unbearable burden on American small businesses.”

Be prepared to bring this one up at your 4th of July barbecue, Save Jerseyans, if a liberal friend tries to make hay out of Governor Christie’s special election decision. Governor Christie’s calculation (if you accept that narrative) cost us $12- to $24 million. President Obama’s will cost us trillions…
