Governor Chris Christie has invoked Detroit (quite rightly) as a warning to New Jerseyans concerning what could happen if the state’s pension system goes belly-up. He traveled to Detroit on Friday to campaign with incumbent Governor Rick Snyder (nursing a narrow but consistent polling lead) and discuss his RGA-backed candidate’s efforts to engage his state’s notoriously distressed and blighted urban center:
I hope he stays in NJ in Camden County which is not just Camden City.
