LD11 SHOCK: Casagrande likely defeated, Angelini too close to call

It’s a huge blow to the NJ GOP…

A late surge of Super PAC cash appears to have has sunk two of this cycle’s most surprising causalities, Save Jerseyans: veteran Assemblywomen Mary Pat Angelini and Caroline Casagrande

We’re told by those crunching numbers (and watching which towns are coming in) that Angelini is still too close to call but Monmouth GOP’ers aren’t bullish, and Casagrande now trails by too much to recover per the unofficial results (only two precincts are still outstanding):

  1. Thanks NJGOP Assembly committee for helping us lose two these seats. This is a shame both were great legislators. I know Caroline and this never should have happened.
