Lautenberg Finally Loses It: “We Got to ‘Eliminate’ the Rich”

He’s been losing it for years, Save Jerseyans.

Now “it” is finally gone.

Senator Frank Lautenberg (D-NJ), who is one of the ten richest politicians on Capitol Hill with a net worth is over $50 Million, visited Belmar’s sunny beaches for a press conference with Rep. Frank Pallone (D-NJ) and did more than regurgitate the typical Democrat catch-all talking point “tax the rich.”

He actually called for their demise!

Forget about how stunningly ignorant he apparently is of basic economic principles (ex. the top 1% of taxpayers in America already pay almost 40% of what the feds take in).

Calling for an end to the wealthy is downright communistic! Worse still, it sounds an awful lot like the ancient Roman practice of “proscription” where the incumbent Roman dictator/emperor would murder his wealthy political opponents and cannibalize their estates to replenish the government’s coffers.

The Senator is clearly nuts to say such a thing. Or sick, or evil, or just hopelessly in the grip of a creeping dementia.

Whatever the cause, the solution is clear: it’s time for this fossil to retire.

  1. This is a good example of why we need term limits. Clearly the man's mind is gone or at least very nearly gone. No sane person in a constitutional republic could possibly believe such an outrageous statement. The IRS recently explained in writing that if they confiscated 100% of all gross income from every American making 10 million a year or more, they would collect about 250 billion. Wow. When will Jersey throw the public employee unions out of that state and let working people from the private sector run it?

  2. I think you need to check your numbers….if you took the money from just the top 10 richest in America…it would be 251 billion…give or take a billion.

But, I happen to agree with you that he is about due to retire. And, I would like to see term limits in place also. …just to get some of those republicans out of office that have overstayed their welcome.

  3. Dude, you're the one who's loosing it! He said, "We've got to eliminate the waste!" not "rich"… What a retard, posting this trash. What you need is to clean out the potatoes in your ears or turn up your speakers, or both! You know, an mind is like a parachute… if it's not open when you need it, you're f*cked!

  4. Actually, while not clear, the word could have been "waste", not "rich". I really can't tell, but it did sound (poor audio) a little like "waste". That would make a little more sense, even coming from one who seems to be suffering from poor judgement.

  5. He didn't say that. The video is a fraud. He said: “We got to eliminate the waste,” Lautenberg said, then adding, “We got to eliminate the fraudulent practice.”
