My two cents: Mitt Romney had his best debate of the entire primary season. Hands down! The new debate coachdeserves a bonus. Governor Romney was articulate, mistake-free and, most significantly, much more aggressive than in past debates.

If the latest polls showing Mitt Romney retaking the lead in Florida are to be believed, then I think Speaker Gingrich is in real trouble next Tuesday. Wolf Blitzer shut him down tonight when he tried to tee-off on the mainstream media’s approach to questioning (the same move that gave him a big boost heading into South Carolina); even if Mitt didn’t reversethe momentum tonight, he certainly arrested Gingrich’s advance. The Speaker probably needed a knock-out punch. He didn’t come close.

Better still for Mitt? Rick Santorum had an exceptionally strong night. He went hard after all three opponents but, at the end of the day, Mitt and Ron Paul’s respective supporters aren’t going anywhere… Newt’s are the least loyal. Expect the former Pennsylvania Senator to eat ever-so-slightly into Gingrich’s Florida numbers…

  1. I think Rick Santorum grabbed off a lot of votes from Newt Gingrich from the far right conservatives and Newt lost some as well.

Further, Mitt Romney was excellent and made maybe 1 mistake but otherwise was very presidential and hit hard back at Newt Gingrich for the personal attacks.

Mitt right now looks like the winner in Florida and all 50 of the delgate votes and his lead might be too much for Newt Gingrich to overcome.

Lastly, it was clear that the TV media and Republican insiders attacked Newt Gingrich tons and that truly helped solidfy Mitt Romney as the man most likely to defeat President Obama.

I thought it was a really good debate!!!

  2. The World Political landscape has went to hell over the past few years due to media bias. We need to stand up for our rights and take back our society from Big Pharma, Big Tobbacco, Big Insurance and really just big corporations. It is time for our elections to stop being purchased.
