What’s in Burlington County’s water, Save Jerseyans?
For a “purple” county that went “red” in 2009 and 2010, it sure seems to be an epicenter of Obama cult activity! Remember the disturbing “dear leader” grade school music video out of Burlington Township in September ’09? I wonder if those poor brainwashed kids ever recovered… God knows the country hasn’t!
The latest Burlco Obamite incident involves citizens at the other end of the age spectrum. Veterans in Lumberton are up-in-arms over the decision of another veteran who decided to hang a 3-by-5-foot flag featuring President Obama’s face on a blue background in lieu of 50 stars next to the 13 red and white stripes of the traditional United States Flag.

While most flag desecration laws bit the dust following Texas v. Johnson and United States v. Eichman, as a matter of proper etiquette, 4 U.S.C. Sec. 8 (g) expressly states that the U.S. Flag “should never have placed upon it, nor on any part of it, nor attached to it any mark, insignia, letter, word, figure, design, picture, or drawing of any nature.” Click here to peruse the U.S. Flag Code.
A similar flag made waves last month when the Lake County, Florida Dems decided to hoist it over their HQ.
Frankly, I don’t blame these misguided liberals for being confused! President Obama and his party have consistently waged war against federalism (and anyone who [potentially] speaks out to defend it, including SCOTUS). So in the liberal mind, why shouldn’t Obama’s mug take the place of the 50 states’ stars? They’re going to be rendered effectively powerless if O wins another four years in office anyway.
