A record number of us have declared a “War On Women” according to a new poll, Save Jerseyans.
For only the second time in Gallup’s 17 years asking the question, more Americans consider themselves to be pro-life than pro-choice. Those who consider themselves pro-life hit 50% whereas the pro-choice crowd is at it’s lowest point ever 41%. Abortion is also at it’s lowest mark ever amongst independents at 41%. Even pro-choice Democrats have taken a ten point hit from 68% down to 58%.
This survey is coming on the heels of the news that Notre Dame University in South Bend, Indiana is joining the lawsuit of Catholic institutions against the healthcare mandate that threatens the freedom of conscious of all individuals not just those in the Catholic Church.
The political stars are aligning for conservatives. The incumbent President is having difficulties defeating convicted felons and obscure opponents in primaries, his Attorney General is wrapped up in a gun-walking scandal, and his chief piece of legislation is unpopular with public.
Now the American public has steadily moved over to support the natural right of life.
Voters are hastily heading to the right side of the political divide. After three and half years of failed liberal ideologies, an across the board drop-off of those adhering to their principles in all sectors should be expected! This puts another check mark in the column for Governor Romney as he vies for independent voters heading into a hostile election battle.
