Runyan Reports $300k Haul for Q2

The campaign of U.S. Rep. Jon Runyan (R-NJ3) raised approximately $300,000 for the second straight quarter this year, Save Jerseyans. $300,062 to be exact. That brings Runyan’s total for 2012 to $1.46 million; he reports $902,620 cash-on-hand.

His campaign manager is using last cycle’s fundraising as the campaign’s preferred point of comparison:

With over $900,000 cash-on-hand, we have nearly twice as much money in the bank this year than we had at this point in 2010,” said Runyan Campaign Manager Kristin Antonello. “Combined with the impressive string of endorsements that Jon has earned in the last two months, we feel very confident heading into the summer against Mrs. Adler, who has a history of voting to increase property taxes, recently embraced Obamacare, and doesn’t even live in the district she’s running to represent.”

His opponent Shelley Alder (D-NJ3 NJ1), who raised approximately the same amount in Q1, is obtaining a large percentage of her campaign cash from out-of-district sources.
