Unsupported by Evidence

Assembly Budget Committee Vice Chair Gary S. Schaer (D-Passaic) delivered the Democratic response to Thursday’s stronger-than-expected New Jersey job numbers.

To summarize: yeah they’re pretty good, but not good enough, so we need to support Democrat job creation initiatives…

I’d love to know exactly which Democrats bills, currently pending before the Legislature, the Assemblyman believes would hasten economic recovery in the Garden State?

After eight (8) years of complete control in Trenton, all taxpayers have to show for trusting the Democrat majority is an epic fiscal mess and the worst tax climate in America. 115 tax hikes during that time period! It’s almost hard to believe the volume.

And what are the Democrats’ Christie-era proposals? Obstruction, smears, and inaction on key Christie iniatives like the property tax tool kit… along with a devastating minimum wage hike that could be the single largest new burden imposed by Trenton on New Jersey employers in my lifetime.  And don’t forget the latest labor union-inspired measure that would RAISE the cost of Sandy reconstruction by up to 1/3.

Trenton Democrats? Prioritizing job creation?

Supported by what evidence from past behavior?
