REPORT: Two NFA Members Move to Ban Corzine from Futures Trading
By Matt Rooney | The Save Jersey Blog
The MF Global debacle tarnished many reputations, destroyed hundreds of jobs and obliterated the investments of thousands including 38,000 hardworking American farmers.
Not everyone is satisfied with how things ended. According to a report in yesterday’s New York Post, “[t]wo directors of the National Futures Association” are allegedly taking action today to permanently blacklist former Jon Corzine from the futures trading industry.
Ouch! That’s be a tough pill for him to swallow.
Just don’t make the mistake of feeling sorry for Corslime, Save Jerseyans. You know better. Nothing’s official yet, and regardless of whether the NFA members’ motion is successful, it could always be worse for the B.S. artist formerly known as the “Wizard of Wall Street.” He’s still a millionaire, still has some of his hair, and still managed to avoid significant scrutiny from the Justice Department.
How might it have turned out if a Republican ran the executive branch? And Jon Corzine hadn’t been a mega-money bundler for the presiding regime? Frankly, you might have seen Attorney General Chris Christie investigating Jon Corzine’s MF Global debacle as we speak.
But that didn’t happen, folks, so let’s be glad he’s no longer New Jersey taxpayers’ problem and hope no one else’s savings suffer on Jon Corzine’s watch!
