Republican Ticket Finalized in Battleground LD18

The NJGOP is serious about Middlesex County in 2013, Save Jerseyans, especially where it concerns Barbara Buono’s soon-to-be former 18th legislative district.
South Plainfield Councilman Rob Bengivenga and Lisa Goldhamer, a financial services professional, announced today that they will run for State Assembly alongside popular East Brunswick Mayor and new State Senate Candidate David Stahl on the GOP ticket. Stahl, who is switching parties, announced his intention to run last week flanked by Republican leaders at a local diner.
“Rob and Lisa have the personal and professional experience to change politics as usual in Trenton and deliver real results for families across our district,” said Stahl by way of a campaign press release. “We know what tough decisions are because we make them every day. Our team will provide the bold leadership we need to kick-start job growth and make our state more affordable.”
LD18 includes the Middlesex County municipalities of East Brunswick, Edison, Helmetta, Highland Park, Metuchen, South Plainfield and South River.
