It’s the U.S. Constitution’s 225th birthday today. For those of you unfortunate enough to have been “educated” in an Abbott District, I’m referring to June 21, 1788, the date in history when New Hampshire approved the Constitution and in so doing became the ninth critical state to give our framing document full force and effect.
That document has never been in a more tenuous position than we find it today, Save Jerseyans. At least not since the American Civil War, and most certainly unlike any other period in our lifetimes. But what can you expect from a country that weens its young on reality television instead of School House Rock…
