Booker’s Official As of This Morning

Cory BookerLt. Governor Kim Guadagno met with the Board of State Canvassers on Monday morning at the State House Annex around 10:00 a.m., Save Jerseyans, in her capacity as Secretary of State to certify the results of our October 16, 2013 Special General Election.

Translation: Cory Booker (D-Twitter) is officially New Jersey’s Junior “Senator-elect” as of approximately 10:00 a.m. today.

The actual swearing in ceremony will take place on Halloween on the floor of the U.S. Senate. Scary stuff, right?

Meanwhile, Senator-elect Booker used an October 28th Facebook post to weigh in on the all-important topic of the debt ceiling Iran Sandy recovery kindness:

“Be kind to one another. We are all more fragile than we let on.”

Yup. It’s going to be a looong year…
