As anticipated, Chris Christie is hitting the road for a major final push ahead of the November 5th gubernatorial and legislative elections.
His campaign manager Bill Stepien just announced a multi-county, 7-day, 90 stop bus tour which will kick off in Livingston, a suburb of Essex County, on Wednesday, October 30th.
Up until now, the Governor had relied primarily on the mainstream media, official appearances and a massive paid media buy to drive his numbers.
Also take note of the fact that Livingston is part of Sen. Dick Codey’s redrawn LD27, Save Jerseyans; many of the Governor’s stops appear to comport with his legislative allies’ battle map. Unsurprisingly, LD1’s GOP ticket is looking to get special attention with stops in Vineland (Cumberland County) and Ocean City (Cape May County).

I will vote for him…as I hold my nose.
I hope he will be concentrating on key legislative districts -because without the legislature – Christie can't do anything. A Democrat controlled legislature will once again wait Christie out when it comes to NJ Supreme Court nominees. One of my concerns with everything is that once Christie is gone – it will once again be the status quo in Trenton, raise taxes and anti-business regulations. Unless there are LONG TERM changes – which the Democrats have stood in the way of too many times, New Jersey will just go backward.
The Democrats take NJ voters for granted. They have already basically chosen the new speaker for the Assembly. I would like to see Christie put a HUGE wrench in their plans and instead have a Republican in the Assembly Speaker and Senate President position. If it can't be done with a VERY popular governor such as Christie – then I am afraid that it will never be done and NJ is doomed.
RINO – won't vote for him this time around.
Elizabeth – that is such a stupid phrase really. So tell me – how does a Republican in your mind do anything with a completely DEMOCRAT controlled government?
The Democrats have a divide and conquer mentality on Republicans and you are one of the ones who is helping them succeed. I haven't met one person who I agree with 100% on anything about – and I realize that it would be impossible to – unless they were an EXACT clone of me. I vote for the person who represents the MAJORITY of things that I support though.
No coffee from me.
He's a DUMBaCRAP!! In sheep clothing
This is actually a photo of the food bus he has following his bus.
If you want to get NJ back on its feet….GET RID of EVERY law and regulation CORZINE put on the books, starting with the public smoking ban. NJ has no more tourism, nightly live music and club attendance because of this! NJ could have full employment if this GOVERNMENT would GET OUT OF OUR WAY….and OUT of our workplace!
maybe he can stop at the Division of Pensions and reinstate COLA for the people who paid to keep his voters in free housing.
