President Barack Obama visits Camden, New Jersey on Monday, Save Jerseyans, celebrating a controversial regional police force initiative championed by Governor Chris Christie. The invite-only event will center around a tour of Camden police headquarters and the nearby Kroc Community Center.
Yeah, we’re not fans, but we’re also huge political nerds, and this is the first visit of a U.S. President to the troubled city since FDR.
