The freeholder contest will naturally get most of the attention, Save Jerseyans, but in Bergen County this fall, no less than 40 of the 70 towns in New Jersey’s most populous county will hold mayoral elections.

We’re checking to see how the Republican team is performing region-by-region. Hundreds of you have already voted in South BergenCentral Bergen and Northwest Bergen.

Our goal? Continue to tabulate your votes through this Friday 8/21 at 5:00 p.m. and then hold a run-off next week featuring the top two mayoral vote-getters from each Bergen County region…

So without further adieu, here’s Round #4: who is Northwest Bergen’s best GOP mayor?

  1. “…who is Northwest Bergen’s best GOP mayor?”

Seriously? It’s rather like asking: “Who was the best First Class Cabin steward aboard the RMS Titanic?”

  2. Since I desperately want to believe that you can’t possibly be THAT stupidly obtuse, I’m going to assume that you forgot to add the /sarc tag to the end of your post.
