Space in LD24: “Nothing better than an unregistered gun”

Assemblyman Parker Space (R-24) loves the Second Amendment, doesn’t mince words, and certainly doesn’t care if anyone is offended by either, Save Jerseyans.

“There is nothing better than an unregistered gun, believe me,” the NRA-backed legislator declared at a Tuesday candidate forum hosted by the New Jersey HeraldDemocrat Michael Grace, forgetting for a moment that he’s running in Sussex County, happily seized on the provocatively-articulated quip to inquire as to whether Space owned an unregistered firearm.

“I’m saying is that when the rebels take over everything they are not going to be able to track you down and take your weapons away from you,” Space clarified in reply.

You know what he meant. What matters next Tuesday: they just don’t make’em like Parker anymore, folks. And it’s part of the reason why he’ll cruise to reelection next Tuesday with his non-incumbent running mate Gail Phoebus:
