Three-term Republican Burlington Freeholder Joe Donnelly and two-term County Surrogate George Kotch will not seek reelection this year, Save Jerseyans.
“It’s been an honor and a privilege to serve the people of Burlington County,” said Donnelly in a statement. “Republican leadership on the Board of Chosen Freeholders has established our county as a model for the rest of the state when it comes to pro-taxpayer budgets and land preservation, while still providing key services that protect seniors, honor veterans, enhance the quality of life for families and advocate on behalf of Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst.”
The County Committee will select replacement candidates over the weekend to run alongside Sheriff Jean Stanfield this June.
Republicans took total control of county government last November when two new candidates toppled Democrat incumbents resulting in a 5-0 GOP freeholder majority.

Why are they not seeking re-election? Did it not occur to the rocket scientist staff of this august website to ask so obvious a question? Or was it too obvious? Bueller? Anyone?
Gene I would be glad to explain it to you about what Service really means but you are too entrenched in your own hate to really comprehend.
