“Debbie and I are praying for the victims, their families and the entire nation of Belgium during this unspeakable tragedy,” said Congressman Tom MacArthur (R, NJ-03) on Tuesday afternoon after news of approximately 300 casualties in the Belgian capital spread across the Atlantic. “This senseless and brutal violence, just months after the tragic loss in Paris, reminds us we must confront this evil, and the many forms it has taken. This wave of terror that we have seen unleashed in Europe and around the world threatens our allies and our way of life. We stand with Belgium and every single individual touched by this violence.”
