Time is scarce these days, Save Jerseyans!

So there’s only going to be one Save Jersey live event between now and Midterm Election Day 2018: our founder and Blogger-in-Chief Matt Rooney will travel to Montville (Morris County) on Monday, October 22nd, and we hope to see you there.

He’ll be a guest of the Montville Republican Club; the event begins at 7:00 p.m. at the Montville Senior House located at 356 Main Road/Route 202 in Montville

21,000 resident-strong Montville is a suburban community situated in the heart of New Jersey’s hotly contested 11th Congressional District where LD26 Assemblyman Jay Webber (R) is fighting to keep the retiring Rodney Frelinghuysen’s House seat from falling into the hands of a retired Navy pilot, Mikie Sherrill (D).

Polling indicate a close race down the home stretch.

Rooney, a 33-year-old attorney and regular panelist for Bill Spadea’s Chasing News television program, will take questions and discuss topics including: (1) the Midterm elections generally, (2) Webber vs. Sherrill, (3) the Hugin vs. Menendez U.S. Senate race, (4) the administration of Governor Phil Murphy, and (5) Cory Booker’s increasingly unhinged behavior.

Since May 2008, Save Jersey has been repeatedly recognized in recent years as a force in New Jersey politics; among other accolades, Matt Rooney was ranked #46 on InsiderNJ’s 100 Media Power List and #43 on its list of 100 top millennials, named a “Rising Star” in state politics by Gannett’s New Jersey newspapers, a top politics and policy tweeter by NJSpotlight, and placed at #12 on Chasing New Jersey‘s ‘Chasing Power’ 2014 list for his work at Save Jersey
