Mandatory student wokeness bill passes Senate in a mostly party-line vote

TRENTON, N.J. – Legislation to mandate K-12 social justice indoctrination passed the New Jersey State Senate on Thursday in a mostly party-line 26-13 vote.

Not a single Democrat voted against the bill. One Republican (Chris Brown of LD2) voted for it.

The amended bill will need another vote by the full Assembly before it heads to Governor Murphy’s desk.
