Jersey City wants to be an abortion tourism mecca

Some cities advertise their beaches, attractive weather or major cultural destinations.

Phil Murphy wants to develop an abortion sanctuary state, Save Jerseyans, and Jersey City wants to be known as the Garden State’s abortion destination.

“Since the start of my first term as Mayor, our administration has prioritized women’s health, which includes the right of each and every woman to control her reproductive choices, whether it’s to terminate a pregnancy or the decision to have and parent a child,” Mayor Steven Fulop declared on Thursday. “If we are going to ensure that all women have the power to exercise reproductive choice, then we need to address the financial and logistical barriers to family planning and reproductive healthcare. That’s why Jersey City has deliberately focused on expanding access to sexual health and reproductive healthcare for low-income women, immigrant women regardless of citizenship status, and young people.”

“For example, through a partnership with Planned Parenthood, Jersey City is piloting a Risk Reduction Program (RRP) within its Women, Infant and Children (WIC) Supplemental Food Programs, which provides access to nutritious foods to over 15,000 eligible low-income women and young children annually. RRP enables WIC participants to access culturally- competent, family planning education and contraception to prevent unwanted pregnancy and STDs, along with healthy food access,” Fulop added.

“I pledge to continue to expand this promising program with a goal of serving all WIC participants seeking support across the City,” the Democrat added.

Planned Parenthood is America’s top abortion provider which already receives millions of dollars annually in subsidies from Trenton. Planned Parenthood is also a major backer of Democrat campaigns.

Murphy’s plans – catalyzed by the anticipated overturn of Roe v. Wade – include proposed legislation requiring insurance policies to cover New Jersey abortions at no out-of-pocket cost.

Follow the money, folks…
