N.J. gas surpasses $5 per gallon on Primary Day

If you needed any extra incentive to participate in today’s primaries, Save Jerseyans, I’d hope this is it.

According to AAA, the average gallon of New Jersey regular unleaded gasoline hit $5.019 on Tuesday morning as thousands of Garden State residents cast ballots for hotly-contested congressional races.

Diesel peaked back in mid-May at $6.336 and remains above $6.

Meanwhile, the Biden Administration has continued to curtail domestic energy production while simultaneously attempting to avoid blame for the building crisis.

“I don’t think it’s correct to say it hasn’t made any difference at all,” Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg complained on ABC’s ‘This Week’ program on Sunday.

They’ve made a “difference” alright: yhe average gallon of gas in New Jersey was only $3.061 one year ago.
