Ex-New Jersey Governor and perennial Garden State embarrassment Christine Todd Whitman announced the formation of a new third party back in July, Save Jerseyans, but she’s still taking her angst over her own irrelevance out on her former part.
On Wednesday, Whitman attended an “Axios News Shapers” event (which is funny because she hasn’t been consequential for two decades) and shared her hope that “all the crazies do win” when the midterms dust settles. “But then I realize no, I don’t want to live in that world and I don’t want to leave it for my grandkids either, the damage they can do,” the Bush era EPA head complained.
The bitter Whitman also told Axios that the GOP was now a “cult” and, in her opinion, lacked a “set of central principles on which it’s based.”
She would know, right?
