Bob Menendez may’ve told Chuck Todd this past weekend that Mexican drug cartels aren’t really terrorist organizations, Save Jerseyans, but a strong majority of Americans apparently disagree.
The results of a Rasmussen survey released Wednesday found “that 79% of Likely U.S. voters believe Mexican drug cartels are a serious threat to the United States, including 55% who say the threat is Very Serious. Only 16% don’t think the drug cartels are a serious threat.”
69% support designating cartels as terrorist organizations.
A debate is currently underway over whether to affix the terror tag owing to a new bill introduced by Texas’s Chip Roy.
