Post-defeat, Malinowski acting like “that crazy ex who just can’t move on”

Ex-Congressman Tom Malinowski is having a lot of trouble moving on after his defeat last November, Save Jerseyans. Day in and day out, he tweets one salty post after another which strongly suggest day trading isn’t enough to keep him occupied.

A former member of Obama’s State Department, Malinowski won his first term by defeating incumbent Leonard Lance in 2018 by five points. He won reelection in 2020 by only 4,000 votes in a close-fought fight with Tom Kean Jr. but ultimately lost the 2022 rematch.

It’s a bad look, but the bitter radical Democrat apparently can’t help himself. Especially when Kean is also tweeting.

“Telephone town halls are a great way to communicate, if you call out to a broad cross section of constituents,” Malinowski opined on Tuesday in a retweet of a Kean tele-town hall post. “When I held them, I always notified in advance everyone who’d signed up for my mailing list, and then released the full audio for those who couldn’t join.”

Republicans couldn’t help but point out that Malinowski’s behavior isn’t just “deceitful,” but also evidence of someone who’s having trouble dealing with retirement.

“As a proud constituent of NJ-07 I never once received advanced notice of any tele-town hall. Our voters fired you for lying & being deceitful, you’d think you’d have learned by now. Jabroni,” shot back NRCC Deputy Director Theresa Winegar.

“Tom @malinowski is that crazy ex who just can’t move on. Sad!” added NJGOP Executive Director Tom Syzamanski.
