As the war in the Middle East reaches a new level of intensity, Congressman Jeff Van Drew (R, NJ-02) warns that a flood of bad actors across the uncontrolled U.S.-Mexican Border is laying the groundwork for a catastrophe on American soil.
“If we continue on this road, we are going to have something happen that’s going to be catastrophic in the United State of America,” warned Van Drew.
“I don’t say this scare people; I am truly very concerned,” Van Drew added.
The numbers would appear to provide support for the South Jerseyan’s concerns.
“In fiscal year 2023, Border Patrol reported apprehending 151 migrants with positive terrorism watchlist matches who entered the U.S. illegally along the southern border, an all-time high for the region that eclipsed the previous record of 98 set in fiscal year 2022, government figures show,” CBS News reported just last last week.
