U.S. Senate candidate and part-time Newark Mayor Cory Booker (D-Twitter) visited Meet the Press on Sunday, Save Jerseyans, under the pretense of discussing the state of American civil rights on the 50th Anniversary of Dr. Martin Luther King’s march on Washington.

Of course, the Democrat nominee who’s overseen a massive spike in his city’s minority unemployment rate is uniquely qualified to discuss the ongoing civil rights struggle as an upper middle class kid who braved life in a wealthy suburb and who endured attendance at the world’s best ivy league institutions:
