Governor Phil Murphy spent your tax dollars cutting a video (from the governor’s office in Trenton) bragging about all his administrating is doing for NJ Transit.
Bad enough, right?
But for legions of angry NJ Transit riders on this freezing Tuesday morning, Murphy’s bragging was doubly grating since this morning’s commute was a complete shit show. So bad, in fact, that #NJTransit was trending on Twitter:
Laughing because he couldn’t believe it? But yes, #NJTransit just announced #NJCL suspended for open bridge

So glad #NJTransit notified me with not enough time to make an earlier train since mine was canceled. Now I am forced to stand on a train that is 1 car short.

@CommutingLarry let's see how long it takes #NJTRANSIT to fix this before it lands on someone's head. pic.twitter.com/TlqatdKO73

So I goofed. The #njtransit car is #7648. It’s still train #6320. Any updates on the window conditions? Today’s pic isn’t cold related. Pic is from same seat as 19 days ago. pic.twitter.com/BaeUtV37DM

Thanks for turning up the air conditioning #NJTransit. We’ll need it on this humid 25 degree day🙄🥶 #commuterlife pic.twitter.com/lHCU8M7rh6

So much for Governor Murphy’s new “responsiveness” initiative.
