All of the talking heads want to know “who Obama is more worried about: Mitt or Newt.”
The real answer is still “Christie” if the ramblings of the President’s political guru, David Axelrod, are any indication. He had our governor on the brain during yesterday’s Meet the Press appearence:
I have watched this president make some very difficult decisions, difficult politically at the beginning of this adminstration to right the financial sector, to get this economy out of the free fall that it was in, to save the auto industry… The candidate that he backs, Gov. Mitt Romney said he would have allowed Detroit to go bankrupt and lost a million more jobs. I don’t think he is in a position to talk about who is a bystander.”
Mr. Axelrod was responding to Governor Christie’s remarks made during a South Jersey swing last Tuesday (November 29th); he referred to the President as a “bystander.”
NO ONE can get under the White House’s skin like Chris Christie. He’d make a great VP. Just sayin’.
