Governor Chris Christie appeared on CNBC’s Squawk Box on Tuesday morning to discuss the FY 2015 New Jersey budget but, inevitably, Hobby Lobby came up.
His answer, when asked to weigh in on the SCOTUS ruling by the pro-choice gaggle sitting around him, could best be described as…
…fiercely non-committal?

Why did we get a very-unChristie response to a straightforward question?
The Governor is openly pro-life, a view he recently reaffirmed at the Faith and Freedom Coalition’s D.C. gathering, and he vetoed family planning funding in the newly-signed budget, an annual tradition.
That being said, he’s maintained a consistently agnostic posture towards most national debates since becoming governor with the notable exception of Sandy aid. The Governor also recently came under fire for nominating Supreme Court justices lacking pro-life track records. He knows these lefties want to get him on record calling for the repeal of Roe v. Wade and, at that point, ramp up their war on women rhetoric against him.
But guess what: they’re going to do it anyway! So why not own it?
Don’t ask me. I’m just a humble blogger.
He’s got enough problems lol
A bold leader and true man of principle and conviction.
Yeah I heard him dodge that question. Why?
coward.
I thought he was a straight shooter.
I’m sorry, Gov. … What?!?
That is CNBC there Squiggy!
why in the HELL are they asking him about this?? We already have a screwed up SSC here in NJ. I don’t give a flying “F” what he thinks!!!
Good, I’d rather not hear him say a word about anything.
