That’s because New Jersey will begin assessing sales tax on your online purchases beginning January 1, 2013.
Some call it a tax hike. Others say it’s simply tax fairness.
Either way, it’s sure to reignite the debate in conservative circles between advocates of (1) a federal flat tax and those who back (2) a national sales taxes.
