Federal Flat Tax vs. National Sales Tax (VIDEO)

If you skipped the Black Friday rush in favor of online shopping, Save Jerseyans, enjoy the super bargains while you still can. Next Christmas will be a little different.

That’s because New Jersey will begin assessing sales tax on your online purchases beginning January 1, 2013.

Some call it a tax hike. Others say it’s simply tax fairness.

Either way, it’s sure to reignite the debate in conservative circles between advocates of (1) a federal flat tax and those who back (2) a national sales taxes.
