Governor Chris Christie and MSNBC were never really married, Save Jerseyans, as many pundits are suggesting in their recycled post-Bridgegate jokes, jibes and other weak attempts at humor.
A better, fairer way to put it: he was in a serious relationship with Morning Joe.
He’s been a regular on the show for awhile now, so it’s not all-too surprising that born-again moderate Joe Scarborough came to the Republican Governor’s defense (kinda-sorta) on Wednesday’s show in the middle of a level 1 #msm feeding frenzy. Co-host Mika Brzezinski couldn’t get a word in edgewise, Save Jerseyans, not all that indifferent from her encounter with Bill Gates over the minimum wage…

My favorite part? When Joe says Benghazi and Bridgegate are apples and oranges but proceeds to disregard his own admonishment by directly comparing them.
What a guy…
Another Christie favorite Jake Tapper (currently of CNN) recently went a step further by declaring that “[o]bviously, Christie is getting a lot more attention when it comes to Bridgegate than Hillary got when it came to Benghazi.”
Good luck getting access to a Clinton White House event after THAT little bit of truth slipped out, Jake.
