Ferguson is on everyone’s minds, Save Jerseyans, so America’s favorite Republican sound bite machine was bound to draw a question concerning it. “Do you think there’s a problem just in general in this country with the way police handle and treat young black men and black teenagers?” Christie-tracking reporter ace Matt Katz asked the Governor during his Friday visit to Asbury Park.
“Listen, I think it’s very dangerous to make generalizations about anybody like that, Matt,” Governor Christie responded, without blinking. “We have millions of dedicated men and women who are police officers across this country who work in grave danger every day to try to make sure that they protect innocent people across this country.” You can listen to the audio here.
And here’s video capturing how the crowd reacted:

Do you agree with the Guv, Save Jerseyans?
No
Oh goodness.
I think he’s a Statist.
Yet he stabs us in back every chance he gets.
Wrong side on almost every issue. ..it’s astounding
I agree with him which is odd. The media relies too much on generalizations masking as some perverted form of common sense.
This happened just yesterday. Anyone know about it? 20 year old, unarmed man shot dead by white Police Officer(s). Where’s the outrage? Where are “O” and Holder? Will they weigh in? No looting? No riots? There’s something different about this guy and his community… What is it? http://www.inquisitr.com/1412236/dillon-taylor-police-shooting/
I agree with him. Why are folks taking the sides of criminals instead of supporting the Police? The police are the good guys..remember?!!!
