Clinton ready to renew Obama’s jobless nightmare

A record 93,770,000 Americans 16 or older did not participate in the nation’s labor force in July, Save Jerseyans, and that grisly number increased by 144,000 individuals over the month. The labor force participation rate remained at 62.6 percent, a 38-year low, according to data released Friday from the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

The ‘real’ unemployment rate for July is 10.4 percent.

In 2011, Sen. Harry Reid falsely claimed that 8 million jobs were lost during the Bush administration. But au contraire, there was a net gain of 1 million jobs under President George W. Bush. And yes, more than 8 million jobs were lost as a result of the recession, but only about half of those were lost under Bush.

Between February 2009 and August 2012, unemployment remained above 8.0 percent for 43 consecutive months. It’s been the worst “recovery” in modern U.S. economic history.

Despite the stimulus spending, 800 billion dollars later and here we are in 2015, again over 10% in unemployment.

Hillary and ObamaIn 2008, then Sen. Obama stated, “The problem is that the way Bush has done it over the last eight years is to take out a credit card from the Bank of China in the name of our children, driving up our national debt from $5 trillion for the first 42 presidents – #43 added $4 trillion by his lonesome, so that we now have over $9 trillion of debt that we are going to have to pay back — $30,000 for every man, woman and child. That’s irresponsible. It’s unpatriotic.”

As of May 2014 Obama all by himself added nearly another $7 trillion. The national debt, which was at nearly $11 trillion at the start of 2009, today stands at over $18 trillion. Obama’s budget will also add another $7 trillion by 2024.

Our current leader in chief, Barack Obama, has been derelict in the pledges he made to the American people. All we have been left with since he took his seat in the oval office is a bleak job market and even larger federal debt.

In a recent Daily Caller article, Michael Bastasch relates how “Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton told supporters in New York City that, if elected, she would tax the coal, oil and gas industry to create millions of “green” jobs, mimicking the same promise made by President Barack Obama during his first campaign.”

Thereby creating millions of jobs, and countless of new businesses, and enable America to lead the global fight against climate change.

Hillary supported the failed stimulus plan that was a temporary band-aid for something that needed a long term solution and she is now is trying to rehash the unfulfilled Green Energy program that Obama promised would create millions of new jobs. Obama used green jobs as a tool during his campaign to win votes and build public support and Hillary is bringing a 2008 tactic to her platform.

If we still have over 10% unemployment, and a Clinton running for office using the same non-existent green ideology she supported under Obama, how do the voters think anything will get better if nothing has changed and even worsened since 2008?

Do we need another carbon copy of failed promises?
