Atlantic County Republicans gathered at Linwood Country Club on Saturday selected their endorsed candidates for the upcoming June primary, Save Jerseyans.

The three big results:

Donald Trump received the presidential endorsement of the county containing Atlantic City, New Jersey, the shore resort where his legacy remains hugely controversial. Trump succeeded only after three ballots after being nominated, ironically, by the Atlantic City delegation. Ohio’s John Kasich finished second.

Down-ballot, millennial and former Yellow Cab President Paul Rosenberg will take on the incumbent Democrat Clerk this fall after succeeding by around 100 votes.

Fellow millennial and Hamilton Deputy Mayor Amy Gatto will run in place of incumbent Will Pauls for Freeholder at Large. She won uncontested. Freeholder Rich Dase of District 4 and Congressman Frank LoBiondio were also nominated on uncontested ballots.
