Guadagno wades into NFL controversy: Standing during National Anthem is a “no brainer”

Lt. Governor Kim Guadagno waded into Sunday’s full-scale national conflagration over 200 kneeling NFL players by coming down unequivocally on the side of those criticizing the protesters.

“As the mother of an Air Force pilot, I believe this is a no-brainer. When that national anthem comes on, no matter who you are or what issues you may have, you should stand and salute our flag. Our anthem should and must stay above the partisan political fray,” said Guadagno on Facebook.

The “LG” is this year’s New Jersey Republican nominee for governor.
