New TV ad invokes N.J. Democrat candidate’s history producing X-Rated movies

The gloves are officially off down in Deep South Jersey, folks!

State Senator Ed Durr (R-3) has been getting hammered on Philadelphia broadcast television for some objectively dumb things which he said in old social media posts, and some of his fellow South Jersey Republicans are turning on him over it.

But what’s worse in the “values” analysis… tweeting politically incorrect stuff or producing porn movies?

That’s the direct question the incumbent is asking voters in a brand new LD3 television ad; “Ridiculous” highlights ex-Assemblyman and current Democrat senate nominee John Burzichelli’s past work as a producer for X-rated flicks. The new ad also ties Burzichelli’s sleezy work to New Jersey Democrats’ ongoing effort to sexualize school children.

“What’s more ridiculous, a trucker saying something insensitive or a career politician moonlighting as an X-rated movie producer?” asks the narrator. “That’s right. When he’s not raising your taxes, John Burzichelli films X-rated movies. Maybe that’s why he thought it was a good idea to keep parents in the dark and teach first graders sex-ed here’s an adult concept: Keep John Burzichelli out of office and away from our kids. John Burzichelli – wrong for South Jersey.”

The Democrat dark money group “Brighter Future Forward” is spending hundreds of thousands of dollars attacking Durr over his past tweets and attempting to tar other South Jersey Republicans with Durr’s history of colorful social media usage. Durr likely won’t suffer over it since Save Jersey rates his reddening rural district as “Lean GOP” this year.
