Here’s more reaction from Thursday‘s disheartening ObamaCare ruling, Save Jerseyans
Freshman Assemblywoman Donna Simon (R-Hunterdon, Somerset, Mercer and Middlesex) was the designated New Jersey Assembly Republican to issue a formal statement:
The U.S. Supreme Court affirmed that President Obama’s healthcare law is a massive tax on the American people and businesses.
“New Jersey families and businesses need relief from taxes and the cost of healthcare. President Obama has added to that burden with an outrageous expansion of government that we cannot afford.
“Our healthcare system remains broken and we must take a better approach toward solutions that put patients first by reducing costs and improving treatment, such as The New Jersey Healthcare Choice Act, a proposal I support that would lower costs by allowing health insurers to provide coverage across state lines to increase healthcare options for New Jersey families.”
I’m very, very glad to see the newly-minted Assemblywoman on board with Asm. Jay Webber’s New Jersey Healthcare Choice Act! Your Blogger-in-Chief has been calling for its enactment for three lonely years. Click here for my original post on it. Just another item on my wish list that’ll never come to fruition with a liberal Democrat legislature and Whitman Republican leadership.
Serenity now…
