Kyrillos Raises $1.75 Million in NJ Senate Race; Reports $1.4M Cash on Hand

Joe Kyrillos’s campaign for U.S. Senate says it has raised over $1.75 million as of its first FEC reporting deadline on March 31st, 2012, Save Jerseyans.

According to the campaign, donations came from approximately 2,000 individual donors, 90% of whom are based in New Jersey. Not bad!

Over 1/3 of Kyrillos’s fundraising came from a March event with Governor Christie that took in $600k attended by 600+ supporters.

The campaign is also reporting $1.4 million cash on hand.

We still don’t know where incumbent Bob Menendez is at; he has about $8 million in the tank at the end of last year.

But hey, it’s been a good day for Senator Kyrillos overall. This morning, new polling data suggested a shrinking lead for his Democrat opponent. Accentuate the positive!
