Fresh off of a campaign swing through Virginia and Connecticut, Governor Chris Christie is scheduled to join his friend, state Senator Joe Kyrillos, on the campaign trail for the second time this month.
They’ll meet up tomorrow (Tuesday, 10/23) afternoon around 2:30 PM at the Mastoris Diner (144 U.S. Rt. 130) in
Bordentown, Burlington County.
The latest RCP average shows Kyrillos trailing the incumbent, Bob Menendez, by a daunting 18.5-point margin.
There will be plenty of time to discuss why after the campaign is over, Save Jerseyans, but Kyrillos’s acute lack of name recognition continues to constrain his campaign. The last three polls show Menendez registering support above 50% and Kyrillos languishing in the low to mid 30s behind Governor Romney; Menendez was stuck below 50% for most the cycle but the Republican challenger was unable to capitalize.
