Here are the restults of Satuday’s Northeast Republican Leadership Conference in Nashua, New Hampshire, Save Jerseyans:
Rand Paul – 15%
Chris Christie – 13%
Ben Carson – 11%
Rick Santorum – 11%
Scott Walker – 11%
We’ve seen the Christie-Paul cold war brewing for some time, haven’t we?
There has not been a major New Hampshire public survey since Bridgegate broke nationally. Christie is still playing there, and one of his stable’s top young operatives, Matt Mowers, is the New Hampshire GOP’s Executive Director.
Saturday’s news is par for the course. Senator Paul generally performs well in straw polls, but this finish is an improvement for Governor Christie over his 4th place finish at CPAC 2014. We’ll have to wait almost two years for the real thing. The New Hampshire primary electorate tends to favor independent-minded politicians which could play to Christie’s favor; the New Jersey GOP’er could also run into trouble for his decidedly less-than-libertarian views on certain social/domestic issues.
All that’s certain, today, is the persistent inability of any leading candidates to break out of the mid-teens range in straw or scientific polling. It’s a wide open contest at this point in time…
Dr. Ben only placing third after saying the US is like Nazi Germany? i thought the #RWNJ’s would have him placing higher after that comment.
Chris Christie “or his staff” if you are reading this, please help the good, law abiding people in NJ by vetoing the useless A2006 bill and all future useless gun control bills presented by the partisan legislators.
Help us help you
Thank you
Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.
Rand Paul is the only GOP politician capable of stopping Cankles’ coronation. No past transgressions, no dark history spots, no fear, and if they try to kookify his dad (who’s doing a good job of it all by himself) he’ll drag Slick Willie’s affairs out into the mud for a good laugh.
Rand Paul & Scott Walker 2016
I cannot believe anyone is stupid enough to vote for Christie, he is a self serving jerk who would make a terrible President.
