Indictment be damned! Menendez goes after Obama (again), this time over Cuba

By Matt Rooney | The Save Jersey Blog

bob menendezGuilty as sin? Probably, Save Jerseyans, and I don’t agree with the Republicans who are giving him a pass, but it’s hard not to appreciate the indicted but not guilty-until-proved-otherwise Bob Menendez seizing every single opportunity to highlight the Obama Administration incompetence. With gusto!

Next up: Cuba.

“A recommendation to remove Cuba from the list of State Sponsors of Terrorism would represent another significant misstep in a misguided policy, and it is both discouraging and alarming to read about unwarranted pressure from the White House to rush the State Department’s review process,” said Menendez, whose parents emigrated from Cuba to New York City, in a Wednesday night statement after news of another imminent White House concession crossed the news wire.

Again, he’s been consistent. Back in December, New Jersey’s Senior Senator accused the President of having “vindicated the brutal behavior of the Cuban government” after Obama moved to normalize relations with the Caribbean communist outpost.

Take note, Team Obama: it’s possible to be a crook AND love your country! One need not choose…

  1. Some of the most staunch conservatives were once liberals who got a rude awakening from the left. Remember Breitbart. Of course, Menendez is a crook, but God forgives those who repent.

  2. So if Gov. Christie gets indicted when the Bridgegate indictments finally are handed down, you are going to call for his immediate resignation as well, right?

  3. He’s trying yo distance himself from Obama due to tge upcoming electiond in 2016. Menendez is a liar
