LD38 is in play, Save Jerseyans, and it’s probably partly because (as FDU recently found) that parental rights is a motivating issue for the sort of voters which Republicans need in 2023. Schools boards are gradually but increasingly responding by pushing back against the Murphy Administration.
Here’s some extremely anecdotal but interesting evidence that the parental rights message may be connecting with voters:
The LD38 GOP’s ad “Insane” has 364,000 views on YouTube.
That’s a helluva lot of views for a (relatively) obscure state race! But that’s how much parents care about their kids and what’s happening in their schools.
